A brand making pathways in the development sector

Branding

Visual Identity

The Challenge

Developmentum is a business born out of frustration with how the development sector operates, with the focus often on ticking boxes and lack of understanding on what makes projects really have a long term impact.

Developmentum was set up to help projects navigate the often tricky political and geographic landscapes that this sector operates in by using local knowledge and contextual understanding to avoid obstacles and make sure the projects keep moving and have a long lasting impact.

Building Our Design Language

At the heart of our new visual identity, is navigation. Creating a direct visual link between obstacles and projects. The structure of the logo mark delivers a unique visual element that not only comes to life through motion but also creates a platform for the expansion of the visual identity.

Creating a 3D World

Beyond the 2 dimensional mazes that were born out of the visual identity we created a series of scenes in 3D to help us tell the story of the brand, each is abstract but offers a range of obstacles and objects that work through the mazes delivering a constant movement to the brand.

“Our market is very unique and requires careful understanding. Happy Ending listened to our ideas, took the time to understand why we needed to target our brand in a particular direction, and shaped a brand identity that will help us get to the scale that we aim to reach.”

Zane Kanderian, Founder.
